Treat wood and tree tiles as context-sensitive until the current build explains their visible output. Official material confirms resource management, construction, farms, mills, walls, camps, and coins, but the public launch record does not publish a wood production formula or a tree-combination benefit. Use the in-game tooltip and compare one change at a time.

Use the confirmed resource loop

Daytime growth includes purchasing and placing tiles, earning coins from documented matches, and building the structures that support economy and defense. That loop is safe to plan around even when one resource tooltip is unclear.

Test wood without losing the run

  • Note the visible resource total and the full tile tooltip before placement.
  • Place one tree or wood-related tile without completing a second unrelated combo.
  • Compare the next visible tick, payout, or build availability, then repeat in a fresh run before generalizing.

Spend by immediate function

  • First preserve the lighthouse defense and a viable night route.
  • Next fund a documented economy match that can pay for future choices.
  • Treat speculative resource chains as experiments, not mandatory build orders.
