Tile logic
Officially documentedShoreTiles Island and Tile Combination Guide
- Check same-type adjacency before using a farm or mill tile as simple filler.
- A colour match can improve the reward, but island shape still determines defensive cost.
- Military combinations affect armies, while boats serve separated territory.
On this page
Evaluate a tile in three layers: its building type, its colour, and the new island shape it creates. The launch post confirms same-type bonuses for mills and farms, an additional reward for matching colours, military-camp combinations, and boats that support separated areas. Other combination values need direct full-release testing.
Run the three-layer check
- Type: does the tile touch a matching farm, mill, or relevant military group?
- Colour: does it also complete a visible colour relationship?
- Shape: can units still reach the exposed edges without abandoning the lighthouse?
Prioritize documented economy matches
| Placement | Confirmed effect | Check in your run |
|---|---|---|
| Farm + farm | Same-type coin bonus | Displayed payout before committing |
| Mill + mill | Same-type coin bonus | Displayed payout and new exposed edge |
| Matching colours | Can increase the coin reward | The actual value; no fixed multiplier is documented here |
| Connected military camps | Combine military forces | Whether units can reach the threatened coast |
Based on the developer’s launch announcement. This is not a complete tile database; exact values remain build-dependent or unverified.
Farms with farms and mills with mills are the named launch examples. A same-colour placement can raise the reward again. Because the public copy does not provide a full table, the interface remains the authority for the value shown in your build.
Let island geometry choose the military pattern
Connected camps support stronger combined armies; separated camps can cover more than one front. Boats matter when a valuable section cannot be reinforced efficiently over land.
